Stock Entries – 2 in Tally Prime
Continuing from my previous answer, here are a few more types of stock entries that can be recorded in Tally Prime:
- Manufacturing journal voucher: A manufacturing journal voucher is used to record the production of finished goods from raw materials or semi-finished goods. When creating a manufacturing journal voucher, the stock item details for the raw materials or semi-finished goods used in the production process, along with the finished goods details, are entered.
- Rejection in voucher: A rejection in voucher is used to record the rejection of stock items by a customer. When creating a rejection in voucher, the stock item details that have been rejected, along with the customer details, are entered.
- Rejection out voucher: A rejection out voucher is used to record the rejection of stock items by a supplier. When creating a rejection out voucher, the stock item details that have been rejected, along with the supplier details, are entered.
- Stock receipt note: A stock receipt note is used to record the receipt of stock items that are not related to a purchase transaction. For example, if a business receives free samples from a supplier or if it receives goods for repair or replacement, a stock receipt note can be created to record this.
Tally Prime also provides various reports to help businesses analyze their stock movements and inventory levels, such as stock item analysis, ageing analysis, and movement analysis, among others. These reports can provide valuable insights into a business's inventory management and help identify areas for improvement.
