Google Sheets provides various options for sorting and filtering data in a spreadsheet. Here are some of the most commonly used ones:

Sort:
  • Sort A-Z: Sorts the selected data in alphabetical order from A to Z.
  • Sort Z-A: Sorts the selected data in reverse alphabetical order from Z to A.
  • Sort Smallest to Largest: Sorts the selected data in numerical order from smallest to largest.
  • Sort Largest to Smallest: Sorts the selected data in numerical order from largest to smallest.

Filter:
  • Filter by condition: Allows you to filter data based on specific conditions, such as greater than, less than, equal to, etc.
  • Filter by value: Allows you to filter data based on specific values in a column.
  • Sort sheet A-Z: Sorts the entire sheet in alphabetical order based on the first column.
  • Sort sheet Z-A: Sorts the entire sheet in reverse alphabetical order based on the first column.
  • Sort sheet Smallest to Largest: Sorts the entire sheet in numerical order based on the first column from smallest to largest.
  • Sort sheet Largest to Smallest: Sorts the entire sheet in numerical order based on the first column from largest to smallest.
To access these options, right-click on the column letter(s) or selected data, then select "Sort sheet A-Z" or "Sort sheet Z-A" for sorting, or "Filter sheet" for filtering options.
