Advance Charts & Graph Charts
Excel provides several advanced chart types and graph options to help you visualize and analyze your data. Some of the most commonly used advanced chart types in Excel include:
- PivotCharts: These are dynamic charts that can be used to summarize and analyze large amounts of data in a pivot table. They are automatically linked to the pivot table and will update whenever the pivot table changes.
- Waterfall charts: Used to visualize the cumulative effect of positive and negative values on an initial value, often used in finance to show the impact of transactions on a starting balance.
- Funnel charts: Used to visualize the stages in a process, and the drop-off of data as it moves from one stage to the next.
- Gantt charts: Used to display project schedules, showing the start and end dates of tasks, and the relationships between tasks.
- Stock charts: Used to visualize stock price data, showing the high, low, and closing price for a given period of time.
- Sparklines: Tiny charts that are embedded within a single cell and provide a compact, easy-to-understand visual representation of data.
