How To Use Status Bar
The Status Bar in Excel is a bar located at the bottom of the Excel window that provides useful information about your data and the workbook.Here are some of the ways you can use the Status Bar in Excel:
- Average, Sum, Count, and More: You can use the Status Bar to quickly perform calculations on your data, such as finding the average, sum, count, and more. Simply select the data range you want to perform the calculation on, and the result will be displayed in the Status Bar.
- AutoSum: You can use the Status Bar to quickly add up data in a range by using the AutoSum feature. Simply select the first cell in the range you want to sum, click the "AutoSum" button in the "Home" tab of the ribbon, and press "Enter".
- Viewing Page Numbers: You can use the Status Bar to view the current page number and total number of pages in your workbook. This is useful for navigation and for printing specific pages.
- Zoom Percentage: You can use the Status Bar to view and change the zoom percentage of your workbook. This is useful for adjusting the size of your data and for making it easier to see on your screen.
