Here is how you can password protect an Excel file in Microsoft Excel:- Open the Excel file you want to password protect.
- Go to the "File" menu and select "Save As".
- In the "Save As" dialog box, select "Excel Workbook" as the file format.
- Click the "Tools" button in the "Save As" dialog box and select "General Options".
- In the "General Options" dialog box, enter a password in the "Password to open" field.
- Re-enter the password to confirm it.
- Click "OK" to close the "General Options" dialog box.
- Click "Save" to save the password-protected Excel file.
