Tally Vault Password in Tally Prime

Tally Vault is a feature in Tally Prime that allows you to secure your company's data by encrypting it with a password. Here are the steps to set or change the Tally Vault password in Tally Prime:

1. Open Tally Prime and select the company for which you want to set the Tally Vault password.
2. Press "Alt+F3" or go to the right-hand side menu bar and select "Company Info".
3. Select "Set/Alter Tally Vault" from the available options.
4. Enter the current password if you have already set one. If you have not set a password, leave this field blank.
5. Enter the new password in the "New Password" field and re-enter it in the "Repeat New Password" field to confirm.
6. Set a hint for the password to help you remember it in case you forget the password.
7. Click on "Accept" to save the changes.

To change the Tally Vault password, you can follow the same steps and enter the current password when prompted. Then, you can enter the new password and set a hint for it. It is recommended to change the password periodically to ensure the security of your company's data.
