Insert Chart & Format Chart – 1 in Google Sheets
You can insert and format charts in Google Sheets to help visualize and analyze your data. Here's how:
- Select the data you want to include in your chart.
- Click the "Insert" menu and select "Chart." This will open the chart editor.
- Choose the type of chart you want to create from the available options, such as bar chart, line chart, pie chart, etc.
- Customize your chart as desired. You can change the title, axis labels, and colors, and you can add a legend.
- To format your chart, right-click on it and select "Format chart area." From here, you can adjust the fill color, border color, and transparency of the chart.
- To format the data series in your chart, right-click on a series and select "Format data series." From here, you can change the series color, line style, and marker style.
- To format the axes in your chart, right-click on an axis and select "Format axis." From here, you can change the axis font, colors, and gridlines.
- When you're done formatting your chart, click "Apply" or "Save" to save your changes.
