Adding and formatting text, images, and shapes in MS Publisher
In Microsoft Publisher, you can add and format text, images, and shapes to create professional-looking publications. Here's how:
- Adding Text: To add text in Publisher, click on the "Text Box" tool in the "Home" tab and then click and drag on the page to create a text box. You can then type or paste text into the text box.
- Formatting Text: To format text, select the text you want to format and then use the tools in the "Home" tab, such as font, size, color, and style. You can also add bullet points, numbered lists, and change the alignment of the text.
- Adding Images: To add images to your publication, click on the "Picture" tool in the "Insert" tab and then select the image you want to add. You can adjust the size and position of the image on the page by clicking and dragging the handles around the image.
- Formatting Images: To format images, right-click on the image and select "Format Picture." You can then adjust the brightness, contrast, color, and other settings for the image.
- Adding Shapes: To add shapes to your publication, click on the "Shapes" tool in the "Insert" tab and then select the shape you want to add. You can then click and drag on the page to create the shape.
- Formatting Shapes: To format shapes, right-click on the shape and select "Format Shape." You can then adjust the fill color, line color, and other settings for the shape.
