Lakshmi Bai became known for her bravery and leadership during the Indian Rebellion of 1857, also known as the Sepoy Mutiny. She trained and led her own army against the British, and she is remembered for her valiant efforts to defend Jhansi.

Lakshmi Bai is remembered as a hero and a symbol of resistance to British rule in India. She is often referred to as the "Rani of Jhansi" and is celebrated for her courage and determination in the face of adversity. Her legacy continues to inspire people in India and around the world to fight for their rights and independence.
